Who we are
RepScore is a football film-grading tool used by coaches to record player performance and generate efficiency scores. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. Questions? Contact us at the email listed at the bottom of this page.
Information we collect
- Coach account information — name, email address, and an encrypted password (or a Google sign-in identifier if you use Google).
- Team and player records — team name, school, season, and for each player: name, jersey number, position group, class year, height, weight, and coach notes. This information is entered by the coach.
- Performance data — per-game statistics, snap counts, opponent, week, and the efficiency scores calculated from them.
- Technical data — basic log information needed to operate and secure the service.
We do not collect student-athlete email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or academic records, and we ask that coaches not enter them.
Student-athlete data and parental consent
Most players graded in RepScore are minors. Player records are created by coaches acting on behalf of their school or program, and are visible only to the coach account that created them.
Player information is never public, never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with recruiters, colleges, or any third party unless the coach explicitly generates and shares a recruiting card. Before sharing any player's information outside the coaching staff, the coach is responsible for obtaining written consent from that player's parent or legal guardian, consistent with school policy and applicable student-privacy laws.
A parent or guardian may request to review, correct, or delete their child's records at any time by contacting us or their child's coach. We will act on verified requests promptly.
How we use information
We use the information solely to operate RepScore: authenticating coaches, storing rosters, calculating grades and season trends, and providing support. We do not use player data to train advertising models or to build profiles for any purpose other than the coach's own evaluation.
Who can see your data
Each coach account is isolated. Coaches can see only the teams, players, and grades they created; no other coach, school, or visitor can browse your roster. Access controls are enforced at the database level, not just in the interface.
We use third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, database storage, and authentication. They process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Deleting a team or player removes its records, including associated grades. To delete your entire account and all data, contact us and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access to player records is restricted to the owning coach account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of this data.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR. We honor these requests regardless of location.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email where appropriate.
